Multi-Wattage & CCT Selectable LED Lighting

The Future of Flexibility

In the rapidly evolving world of commercial and industrial lighting, versatility is no longer just a “nice-to-have”; it is a critical requirement. Facility managers, electrical contractors, and business owners are increasingly turning to Multi-CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) and wattage-selectable LED products to future-proof their installations.

By allowing users to adjust light output and color temperature on-site, these innovative solutions eliminate much of the guesswork in lighting design, streamline inventory management, and make it easier to match a single product to multiple applications. HyLite LED Lighting now offers selectable technology across a broader range of commercial retrofit products, including OptiMax Tube Lights, Omni-Bulbs, Plug-In VL Lamps, Lotus PAR38 Lamps, Lotus PAR56/PAR64 Lamps, Omni-Cob lamps, and Intigo Omni-Directional lamps.

Why Selectable Lighting?
Fewer SKUs: One lamp can cover multiple wattage and CCT needs.
Field Flexibility: Adjust settings after arriving at the job site.
Better Project Planning: Reduce the risk of ordering the wrong output or color temperature.
Long-Term Adaptability: Lighting can be adjusted as spaces and applications change.

The Power of “All-in-One”: Multi-CCT & Wattage Selectable

The real innovation lies in lamps that offer both Multi-CCT and wattage selection in a single unit. Instead of stocking multiple fixed-output lamps, a contractor or facility team can use one selectable product to cover a much wider range of project requirements.

Customized Mood & Visibility

Use the CCT switch to match the aesthetic and visual needs of the space—warm, neutral, or cool—on-site, after the product arrives.

Precision Energy Savings

Use the wattage switch to select the light-output level appropriate for the application. When a space does not need the highest setting, a lower wattage can reduce energy use.

Inventory Efficiency

One lamp can replace numerous fixed-wattage and fixed-CCT SKUs, simplifying purchasing, stocking, contractor vans, and facility maintenance inventory.

Selectable color temperature options for commercial LED lighting

What To Know About Color Temperature

The “look and feel” of a space is dictated by its Correlated Color Temperature (CCT). Measured in Kelvin (K), CCT describes the appearance of light, ranging from a warm, golden glow to crisp daylight.

When you select the right CCT, you are not simply choosing a color, you are helping define the purpose and visual character of the space. Warm light in the 2700K–3000K range is often preferred in hospitality, restaurants, lobbies, and other inviting environments, while 5000K–6500K options are well-suited to high-visibility applications such as warehouses, utility areas, and task-focused environments. The available CCT range varies by exact HyLite product.

Versatile Applications

HyLite’s Multi-CCT and wattage-selectable products are designed for environments where the “perfect light” can change by task, room, tenant, fixture, or project. Because these products can be adjusted on-site, they are useful across a wide range of commercial and institutional applications. View HyLite applications →

Commercial Offices & Classrooms

These spaces often require a balance between comfort and focus. A 4000K neutral-white setting is commonly used in work and learning environments, while selectable wattage lets the same product accommodate rooms with different output requirements.

Healthcare & Hospitals

Different areas can call for different visual environments. Brighter, cooler settings may support task-oriented spaces, while warmer settings can be appropriate for waiting, patient, or common areas.

Warehouses & Industrial Facilities

Higher-output settings and cooler CCT options can support visibility in operational spaces, while lower settings may be appropriate in storage, circulation, or lower-activity areas.

Retail & Hospitality

Retailers, restaurants, and hotels can use warmer or more neutral settings depending on the environment, merchandise, branding, and customer experience they want to create.

Outdoor & Security Lighting

Selectable output and CCT can help facilities tune lighting for visibility, security, energy goals, and site-specific requirements in parking, walkway, perimeter, and exterior applications.

Why Selectable Matters

Beyond the convenience of a switch, selectable technology can simplify the economics and logistics of a lighting project. It reduces the number of fixed configurations contractors and facility managers need to stock, and it allows adjustments after the product arrives at the job site.

For contractors, that can mean fewer ordering mistakes and return trips. For facility owners, it can create a more flexible lighting standard that can evolve as the building’s use changes. With HyLite, you have a growing range of selectable retrofit options designed to help create the right light for each application.
